Apostle Gerald Kwitegereza

I was born in 1964 in DR Congo  former  Zaire.  I am a son to peasants: Mr. & Mrs. Donati Ntawenda  who  are still alive today in DR Congo. I'm the 4th born in my mother's womb  to one father polygamy of 4 wives, but one died. We are many children to one father .I grew in Zaire (DR Congo)  studied primary, secondary levels in the same country.

I got saved in 1978. After completing  my senior 3 in 1980 , I stopped  and served the Lord under my pastor John Bakinahe  as an Evangelist.

I planted  several churches in Zaire. In 1982 , I married my wife Ventina, and we are blessed with 7 children, but the 1st born went in heaven. Currently  we have 6 (3 boys& 3 girls).

The whole of my family was not happy of my salvation. I , with my wife were hated  by all family  members.

In 1983 ,  I , with my wife  joined Bible school in Zaire called (Institut Biblique de Rwanguba )   for four years. In 1987 I was ordained as a Reverend.  In 1988 - 1989 we were appointed to train  pastors in a certain Bible School called Ecole Biblique de Buramba. In the same year 1989  the Lord called me to serve Him in Uganda .

I doubted since  I did not know the language in  Uganda , this was  English  as for me I just new French  . The voice came again, then I obeyed & went to Uganda. By then we had  2 children (Recheal  girl  & Eli boy ).Reachel whom I consider as  my 1st born  since the real 1st one went to heaven,  became sick, mental problem.

In 1990 we took her to hospitals but it was in vain . We backslid and went to wizards.

We went back to Zaire .  In the same year  the voice from the Lord came  to me twice saying that Gerald , are you sleeping when my people in Uganda are dying? I though that the Lord will take me in Kampala the capital city of Uganda, if not ,then one of the major towns of Uganda. It was the opposite of my wish. He took my in  a deep place  called Kyakabadima in Kibale District.

Here it was worse.  Some body  gave me his hut  in which   I  stayed  with my family. When I began the ministry  , since  since I did not know the language (English ) even the local ones , communication was to hard. I with my family were hated  by the religious people, we resisted until they bribed  the  police men and other  big officers to arrest me due to ministry. I was jailed and beaten with sinners in prison  for 17 days .  When my parents heard of it  they called  me back  to  Zaire , they sent so many letters of discouragement. My reply to them was : Unless the One called me and sent says , I will obey. If not , I am still in Uganda .

I forgave my parents & family & those who harassed me in Uganda. Now almost all the people in my family are saved. The key man Francis Nsenga  in Kyakabadima who bribed police to take into prison is  now the one pastoring  the same 1st church I  planted in 1991.

By then I was affiliated to Assemblies of God until  1995 .  In 1996 I joined World Revival & Salvation Ministries . In 1997  I was elected as  the National treasurer  of the ministry  until 2005.

I planted and revived  hundreds of churches in DR Congo,  Kenya , Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia , and Zimbambwe.. In 2000 I was confirmed as a Bishop.
 

In 2006 to date God gave me a new ministry called Shalom Revival Ministries International, which is registered.  At the moment we have 3 orphanages , in which one is in Kampala city and a church too.

On 24th Sept 2007,  I was confirmed as an Apostle in the International Apostolic Net work (IAN) , and by God's  grace I was elected as the  Chairman of all the apostles in Kampala , those in  IAN.
