APOSTLE SIMON CHOKE MASETE
I was born on 11-11 1960 in the village called Bukembe in Bungoma District,
the first born of Mzee Masete. I schooled in Bukembe Secondary school.

SALVATION :

I received Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour in 1977, under Evangelical Free Mission, A Pentecostal church. In late 1978 I was appointed to serve as church Deacon. In 1979 I became a pastor in the same mission.

CALL:

I received the call from God directing me to leave my village and go to the place I was to start work of God, that is Bungoma town where I m today. I left my village home in 19 80 to Bungoma town , I served in town with men of God who welcomed me in town like Bishop Fred Ogara and the late Mzee Weyula and others .

MARRIAGE:

I married Rose Amentono in 1984 after long time days of prayers, God confirmed and directed me to a lady by the above name who also was praying for the same

I was prayed for by the elders after prayers and confirmation we began our marriage life.

We confirmed our marriage through holy matrimony (wedding) in 2002 where we signed a government marriage certificate. The service was led by Bishop, Apostle Patrick Baligasima from Uganda assisted by Rev, Michael Simati from Kenya.

We are blessed with three children Esther, Gideon, and Felista. We are also blessed by living with three orphans

MINISTRY:

In the year 1990, God directed me to lead a church. I was supported by Bishop Fredrick Ogara and the late Fredrick Weyula.

Now the opening of the church came automatically through God’s on wonders. I was called to pray for the dead woman named Keshia Lusweti who had been sick for 18 years. Through prayers God raised the dead woman and healed her until today. This was the beginning of the church, called Seed Evangelistic a flame.

From 1990 -1998 the work of God grew up by God adding the number of those who were being saved, churches were opened in different districts and the number grew 40 churches.

1994, I was proposed to be a Bishop by the church elders.

In the year 1998, I (Bishop) went to our neighbouring country- Uganda to predicize over the wedding of Mr James Kivugua. Here I met with the servant of God Bishop Apostle Patrick Baligsima, the founder leader of Discipleship Mission- Uganda. We shared our visions and later discussed over marring the two ministries together under one name Discipleship Mission International and greed.

The church of Discipleship Mission International – Kenya remembers and give thanks to Bishop Apostle Baligasima, for what God has used him to do since he and I came together for there have been a lot of work done.

Under Discipleship Mission International- Kenya I and the team have managed to open some more 20 churches in Kenya. Places like Teso, Kitale , Butere/Mumias District Mwingi District, Mombasa,NairobIetc

Through me, Discipleship Mission International have managed to enter Tanzania and now there are churches under Bishop Manyatta.

Discipleship Mission International- Tanzania.

I now leads over 60 churches in Kenya.

BIBLE SCHOOL:

I have attained the bible teaching in the following Bible schools;

1. certificate- Christian life teaching

2. certificate- Bungoma Bible school

3. Diploma- word& spirit seminary- Uganda.

Also my wife has a certificate in Christian Education from Christian life Teaching- Bungoma.

RAISING OF MINISTERS:

I have raised a number of ministers that are helping in he growth of this mission in Kenya, e.g. – Teachers of Bible

- Prophets

- Evangelists

- Pastors & Apostles.

I believed that the church is built on the foundation of the Apostle and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chef cornerstone Eph 2:20

SERVICE: .

I am a man with a giving heart, humble, obedience and committed.

VISION: Church planting, evangelism and training.

OTHERS: Health clinics, schools, orphanages, Technical schools etc.

COMMISSION: Matts 28:19-20 ‘’ Go therefore and make my disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the son and the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and l I am with you always, even to the end of the age “men.

May the Lord Jesus Christ be with me as I lead his church in Kenya and other parts of the world.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

1)Evangelism.

To proclaim the message of Jesus Christ to the spiritually lost in all the world thro' every available means. I believe in any culture the truth illuminates darkness and sets free the captives free. Armed with the word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we feel we must use every technology and every vehicle to ensure that every generation-young men and women, old men and children however old they might be
hears the gospel. Timothy2:9 "the word of God is not bound".

2)Planting churches.
We want to plant and establish churches in every province of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and internationally following the New Testament pattern.

3) Training.
This I have been doing although we do not have a Bible School but we've started Bible classes and believe that as God will provide the funds. We want to begin a Bible school to train and equip leaders before sending them out to evangelize and plant churches locally and internationally (especially in Africa) to proclaim the message of Christ to their own people and other nations.Ephesians4:11.
4) Touching.
We feel as God enables us, we want to touch the poor and suffering with the compassion of Jesus Christ and inviting them to become His followers. We feel and is our prayer that we build an orphanage for
the orphans and street children rehabilitation centre .At the moment, we're supporting and helping the needy especially the orphans with basic things; food, clothes. (We do all things occasionally and pray that we will be able to do so more often) Through the pervasive evangelism, unprecedented church planting and growth, quality training of leaders and lay people and through the power of Pentecost, we have seen marvelous things happen. Our vision to continue moving forward continues to burn more brightly than ever. We believe God's vision for Africa is increasingly" Redeemed Africa", The product of mature and united proclamation of Christ, discipleship, training ministers, a zeal for missions, compassion for the hurting and commitment to crown Christ Lord of all. Church planting and leadership/pastors 'training is and has been a major step towards accomplishing this vision. Prayerfully consider partnering with us. We desire that you can also come for an evangelistic crusade*pastors/leaders conference this year or next year as the Lord will enable you. Ten days with you servant of God i believe will make a difference in our lives and the
ministry.

WHAT WE DO.
Every year we organize pastors/leaders conference in Bungoma and also visit churches in other nations for church seminars, leadership training and equipping conferences besides the women and youth seminars
that local churches organize. Being a trans generational ministry we feel we want to reach every one no matter the age, gender or social distinction. We desire to be accountable to you for spiritual
development of the saints, the ministry and us as leaders. We are faithful and committed to stimulating one another to conform to the rule of God in and through our lives so that God is glorified and His kingdom is promoted in Kenya and the entire world. We will be grateful too if you allow us to have a relationship with you and if you allow us to be a family and the Body across the ocean and by his Spirit release the Kingdom of God together
